Who we are
A collaborative consulting firm founded in 2016 by Kihisha Suleman -a futurist, SMME developer and engineer. BrainBox matches upskilled professionals to business owners with the aim of improving and growing businesses.
We have 3 core beliefs:
- Businesses can benefit from professional and industry expertise at a fraction of the cost and rigidity of large consulting firms
- Anyone highly skilled, experienced, passionate individual can consult once trained
- We can change the way of work and resolve unemployment
Why we exist

- With an unemployment rate of 27% and an economic growth of 0,7%, Entrepreneurship geared towards job creation is key to economic stimulus;
- We have taken it into our hands to resolve both youth unemployment and slow economic growth with an innovative model that changes mindsets, places consultants into high potential funded BUSINESSES;
- It is our aim to grow each business into one that contributes significantly to the economy and employs the consultant(s) at the end of the project.
How we work
Diagnose, Train, Match, Select
- Investors and business owners get in touch : We conduct a needs analysis and develop project briefs
- Consulting training: We train up consultants with the right skills to enable them to leverage their current skills and experiences
- The Marketplace launches projects: Project briefs go live and consultants are invited to pitch
- We select the best: BrainBox makes the match by selecting the best consultant for each project
- We manage it: BrainBox manages the consultant to ensure success
